Ryan Connolly is a 2015 LHP with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Castle Rock, CO who attends Douglas County HS. Connolly has a large frame with a long projectable build. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long loose arm action. His arm works well and the ball comes out of his hand clean. Connolly hides the ball well and pitches with lower effort. He throws a 1/7 curveball at 71 MPH with OK shape and spin to it. Connolly has a shorter stride length which limits current velocity and extension. With a bit longer stride his curveball will sharpen up quite a bit as well. Interesting projectable left hander with more velocity to come. Very good student.
