Theodore "Ted" Fleming is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends San Ramon Valley. Long, lean build with long levers and excellent physical projection. Pitches with shorter arm action up to 3/4 arm slot, quick paced delivery with looseness and athleticism. Uptempo throughout delivery, to the point where balance may become an issue, Relatively straight fastball worked in the 81-84 range, was able to throw it to both sides of the plate as well as elevate it up in the zone to get swings and misses. Very good arm speed. Showed curveball as secondary offering. When on the top, the curveball shows 11/5 shape with excellent tightness and depth. Will get to the side of the pitch at times, generally caused by front shoulder leaking a bit, and turn it into more of a sweeper pitch. When on, it's a legitimate swing-and-miss offering. Impressive projection and athleticism on the mound. Good student.
