Jacob Frisbie is a 2017 OF/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Keller, TX who attends Byron Nelson HS. Medium frame, athletic build with strong lower half and high waist. Right handed hitter, wide base with hands at letters. Toe-tap timing, inside hand path, likes to work to the middle of the field or the other way. Shows good feel for the barrel and repeating approach, solid, line-drive plane with nice bat speed, projects well at the plate. Primary outfielder, charges the ball well, developing footwork through release. Quality arm strength, throws have carry to bases, up to 82 mph in defensive drills. Also pitches, short leg lift delivery with good line and direction to the plate. Stays tall on backside, uses lower half well, works to a 3/4 arm slot. Fastball up to 80 mph, pitch shows some downhill plane and later life when located down in the zone. Also flashes a slider with sweeping action, solid lateral tilt when extended. Shows the ability to pitch to both sides of the plate and keep the ball down. Very good student.
