Jaquae Stewart is a 2023 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-9 195 lb. frame from Sinton, TX who attends Sinton HS. Recorded an 8.35 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with present strength and size throughout the build. Primary first baseman with an elongated release and a long, loose arm stroke. Comes through the ball well with some whippiness to release. Works throws across well with accuracy. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a controlled leg lift and clean lower half drive. Whippy arm stroke through a high three-quarters arm slot. Gets some arm side run on the fastball that topped out at 80 mph. Big breaking curveball with looser spin but good depth and showed a firmer slider that got more swing and miss. Lefthanded hitter with a slightly open stance, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Simple swing and turns the barrel over nicely. Easy juice to the pull side and gets the hands out to drive it. Very consistent hitter and will unlock more power with additional lower half shift through contact.
