Adam Petersen is a 2016 1B/RHP with a 6-3 189 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Atascocita HS. Tall athletic build, projects well physically. Right handed hitter, late pull back load, late timer causes issues at times, has strong quick hands and creates bat speed, uses his lower half well, stays balanced well, sound swing when he stays short and on top of the ball instead of muscling up, has hitting tools to develop. 6.93 runner, primary first baseman but has the athletic tools to be a solid outfielder with more repetitions, has obvious athleticism at first base with good footwork and fundamentals. Also pitched, compact arm action, high 3/4's release with good downhill angle. Fastball to 81 mph, tends to slow his body on a soft curveball. Good student.
