Jason Swan is a 2017 SS/2B with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Atlantic Coast HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. Very good runner, 6.50 in the sixty. Long and loose arm action in the infield, fields the ball out front, shows good range and quick feet, arm strength and arm action may be best suited for centerfield in the future. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a big leg lift trigger, drives his lower half well into contact, has good hand quickness and bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel hard, hands will get too inside at times, interesting combination of speed and power potential when he physically matures. Good student, verbal commitment to Florida International.
