Max Pinto is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends St Brendan. Lean, athletic build with good room for projectable strength. Switch hitter, sets up from both sides with slightly open and wide stance. Shows short swing from both sides, swing from right side was more fluid and a bit quicker. Swing has line drive plane with extension through contact and strength off the barrel. Has pop to pull field with more power coming. Fields well in the OF, fields out in front, deliberate but clean actions. Accurate throws to 3B and home with very strong arm, topping out at 87 MPH. Gets good reads off the bat in game setting. Ran 6.87 60 yard dash. Named to 2015 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect list. Good student.
