Jordan Hampton is a 2017 RHP/1B with a 6-6 180 lb. frame from Kathleen, GA who attends Houston County HS. Long and slender build, long limbs, obvious physical projection. Works from the stretch, high 3/4's arm slot, has balance and good direction in his delivery, arm slot tends to change frequently. Fastball topped out at 84 mphthrows strikes with his fastball and works both sides of the plate, fastball has lots of running action at times. Short slurve type breaking ball flashes tight spin, developing change up. Velocity likely to increase in proportion to his physical strength. Good student. Named to the Showcase All Prospect Team.
