William Wormsbecher is a 2017 1B/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Pembroke Pines Charter HS. Large frame with strong present build, body still projects some moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.15 seconds. Sets up to hit with slightly open front hip, high back elbow set, toe tap timing mechanism. Has good strength in swing. Line drive swing plane, good extension through contact. Shows good ability to drive the ball on a line to all fields when timed up properly. Can get the ball in the air with authority at times. Worked out defensively at 1st base and showed well there. Fields out front with clean, soft hands; short footwork with the necessary agility to pivot and make tough throws to both 2nd base and 3rd base. Short and quick arm action, good carry on throws, arm strength clocked up to 75 MPH with accuracy.
