Erik Rodriguez is a 2015 OF with a 5-11 168 lb. frame from Carolina, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Medium, highly athletic, wiry build with more room to add strength. Ran a 6.54 60 yard dash. Plus runner and knows how to use his speed. Has a long, loose outfield arm action and makes accurate throws. Has an above average arm and stays on top. Moves very well. Bats from a narrow, open setup and looks to pull the ball with authority. Has lift in his swing and will develop power with maturity. Takes an aggressive swing with solid bat speed. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
