Jaxon Holder is a 2021 3B/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Aubrey, TX who attends Aubrey. Recorded a 6.90 second 60 yard dash time, showcasing good speed. Lean and athletic frame with present strength, body projects well moving forward. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with a clean gather, plays through the ball well. Shows soft hands and smooth actions moving across the infield, has a controlled approach with good lateral range. Arm strength with continue to improve as he gets stronger, showed the ability to make plays on the move. Left-handed hitter with an open stance and small stride in to get to an even base. Simple operation overall, high hand set with good rhythm and fluidity in the hands. Low effort and easy swing, shows a mature gap to gap approach, peppered the whole field with hard hit line drives. Produced consistent solid contact throughout the round, displays quick hands and present barrel control. Excellent student. Dallas Baptist commit.
