2015 National Underclass South Showcase
Michael Betrus is a 2018 SS with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Hebron HS. Medium-large fame, broad shoulders with high waist and lean present build, projects well physically. Good footspeed, ran a 6.72 60-yard dash. Shows solid infield actions, comes through the ball well. Throws from lower 3/4's slot, balls sailed at times but shows good arm strength, clocked at up to 79 mph across the diamond. Left handed hitter, slightly open stance with small knee bend. Varied hand path, shows some quickness and can get bat through the zone. Flashed feel for the barrel and ability to hit line drives to the middle of the field. Very good student.
