Lorenzo Hampton is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Miami Lakes, FL who attends Monsignor Edward Pace HS. Long legged high waisted athletic build, lots of strength potential. Right handed hitter, busy hand load from an open stance, stays open, long loose swing with bat speed and lots of extension, aggressive hitter, ball comes off the barrel loud and hard when squared, will have to shorten swing against quality stuff but has big raw power potential. 7.00 runner, long loose arm action in the outfield, very good arm strength, can improve actions at the ball. Also pitched, pitcher's build and look, arm works well, high 3/4's arm slot with a long stride out front, gets downhill well. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph with occasional fading action. Young pitching actions but has potential. Excellent student.
