Charles Okey is a 5'8" 159 pound 2007 catcher, third baseman, and second baseman from Eustis High School in Mt. Dora, Florida. He has a smaller frame with good athleticism. Charles is a switch hitter who has the same approach from both sides of the plate. His strong hands let him generate plus bat speed. He uses this bat speed to make solid line drive contact. His swing is short and smooth and he likes to drive the ball to the opposite field. Okey has quick feet behind the plate. His exchange is quick and he will end up being a sub 2.00 pop time guy. Right now, his best pop time was a 2.03 with 70 mph being his strongest throw. Charles doesn’t have blazing speed but he stole a base by getting a great jump on first move.
