Alejandro Rodriguez is a 2018 C/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Cidra, PR who attends Montverde Academy. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.02 runner, shows his athleticism defensively behind the plate, is quick in all his actions and stays low and compact, quick hands receiving and in his transfers, makes very accurate throws, 1.88 best pop time, has the tools excel defensively at the next level. Right handed hitter, upper half rotational swing, swings hard and creates some bat speed, keeps his swing pretty simple in execution, squared the ball up well in games with line drive middle of the field contact.
