Christopher Grome is a 2016 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-11 157 lb. frame from Framingham, MA who attends Framingham. Medium, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame with room to fill out. Primary left-handed pitcher, throws from a mid three-quarter arm slot with solid, repeatable mechanics. Shows confidence in all offerings, very efficient, fastball topped at 75 mph with arm side run and curveball shows sharp 1-7 life with downward break. Moves well in the outfield, uses a crow hop, arm strength will continue to develop. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and a high hand set. Tracks ball well out of pitcher's hand, line drive swing plane with occasional lift, keeps weight back and shifts well into contact, direct hand path, creates contact to pull side. Excellent student.
