Mitch Maxwell is a 2018 OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Mcintosh High School. Extra-large frame, lean, slender build, athleticism, and lots of room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.20 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed good accuracy on throws, short footwork, and carry out of the hand with arm strength up to 80 mph. At the plate, started tall in the box with a larger leg lift timing mechanism. Incomplete weight shift through lower half with enough strength to drive the ball. Showed good power to pull side with an inside out hand path. With full lower half incorporation could see very real power in swing. Exceptional student.
