Colin Taylor is a 2016 SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Princeton, NJ who attends Princeton HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sound hitting mechanics, keeps it simple, short direct path to the ball, line drive swing plane, works the middle of the field and makes consistent square contact, high average approach. 5.17 runner in the forty, quick on his feet and has range in the infield, stays balanced well with sound footwork, will need to improve quickness in exchange and release as the game speeds up, developing arm strength. Good student.
