Cody Goggins is a 2016 C/RHP with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Menasha, WI who attends Salisbury HS. Medium athletic build, room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, deep hand load from a spread stance, rotational swing, smooth tension free rotational swing with some length and extension to it, line drive swing plane, flashed some gap power, should continue to improve with additional strength. Gets in a low and flexible set behind the plate, handled pitchers well in games and receives the ball comfortably, good fundamentals on pop ups, compact arm strength with a good release, developing arm strength, 2.02 best pop time. Also pitched, mid 70's fastball with cutting action, keeps fastball down in the zone, soft curveball with some depth. Hard nosed player who likes to compete. Good student.
