Caleb Freeman is a 2021 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Greer, SC who attends P27 Academy. XL frame with strong, physical build that still projects. Spread and even stance at the plate, dives in a bit, swings it hard with intent to do damage, has impressive strength, loud jump off the barrel when on time, lots to like about the offensive power projection. Worked out in the outfield, shows off arm strength as weapon, clocked up to 91 mph on throws. Pitched well, drop and drive downhill, full arm stroke to high 3/4 slot, fastball worked 84-88 mph with good life, can cut it glove side, showed slider with more horizontal life, flashes changeup with swing-and-miss fade. Excellent student, named to 2020 National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
