Austin Harper is a 2018 OF/SS with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Dulles HS. Young, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, takes short steps to the ball, short and compact arm action with a tight release, accurate throws with strength and carry that will continue to develop. Short arm action from the infield, shows agility to the ball, wide base fielding out front. Right-handed hitter, starts with a bent knee stance. Swing hards with a high finish, slight uphill plane and looks to lift to pull side. Long swing path but generates bat speed and gets the barrel through the zone well.
