Hunter Corbett is a 2018 C/1B/RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Deland, FL who attends Deland HS. Large frame with long, slender present build; very good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.02 seconds. Sets up to hit from balanced, even-based stance with good separation created between hips and hands. Showed a loose swing with quality bat speed, fluid path, did a good job repeating mechanics and driving the ball with consistency. Receives well behind the plate and shows quality footwork out of crouch, gains ground well and shows off very good arm strength to 2B, throwing 78 MPH and popping as low as 1.94 seconds. Also pitched, easy delivery with good tempo, gets online to the plate, shows quick arm stroke to high three quarters arm slot and gets downhill well. Fastball worked 80-83 MPH with some cutting action. Mixed in curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth. Very good student.
