Kyle Harbison is a 2019 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Georgetown, KY who attends Scott County. Strong athletic build with present strength. Worked out defensively as a primary catcher. Starts from a low even stance with out front receiving actions. Gains ground well from behind the plate with polished footwork. Flashed quick hands and transfers. Displayed a compact arm action with quick clean releases to go along with good arm strength topping out at 75 miles per hour and posting a event best 1.94 second pop time. Right handed hitter. Employs a narrow closed stance with a leg lift trigger. Flashed good hand speed with a direct bat path creating good barrel speed and launch angle to through the baseball. Utilizes a rotational gap to gap approach with pop to all fields. Displayed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field with multiple loud line drives and fly balls during batting practice. Ball jumps off the barrel when on time and squared. Great student. Indiana State Commit.
