Malik Williams is a 2017 1B/3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Satec @ WA Porter CI. Extra large build, outstanding present strength, long arms and legs. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing, lots of barrel action prior to swing may create timing inconsistencies, swings hard and creates lots of raw bat speed, loose extension through contact, ball jumps off the barrel hard, very impressive raw power, big question will be timing and shortness to the ball against quality pitching. Has good agility for his size on defense, coordinated actions, fields the ball softly out front and makes soft but accurate throws.
