Luke Farrar is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point HS. Medium athletic build, has good strength for his age. 7.30 runner, long loose arm action on defense, throws carry well, has solid actions moving to the ball and the athleticism to keep improving. Right handed hitter, low deep hand load creates length in swing, moves into contact well, pretty direct path to the ball, ball came off the barrel hard in batting practice, aggressive game hitting approach. Also pitched, 3/4's arm slot, accelerates hard to the plate and gets out front of his arm. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, good arm side running action at times, curveball flashed good spin and some depth. Has the tools and athleticism to improve in all areas. Good student.
