Zack Lembach is a 2020 C/RHP/1B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Vine Grove, KY who attends Meade County High School. Incredibly young player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.41 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, stayed low through reception, quick transfer, full arm action, gained ground well. Showed a quick release and raw arm strength with a work out pop time of 1.94. At the plate, started with an upright stance, open base, and a simple leg lift timing mechanism. Loose, extended swing path with developing bat speed. Line drive plane with a pull side approach. Will continue to improve at the plate with age. Also pitched, used a crossfire element, short arm circle through the back, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Good extension through the ball with a fastball that worked 71-74 mph with good arm side life. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with depth and developing sharpness. Very good student.
