Jeremy "JJ" Raymond is a 2017 MIF/OF with a 5-10 153 lb. frame from West Palm Beach, FL who attends Seminole Ridge Community HS. Medium, frame with slender present build; body projects well moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 6.94 seconds. Sets up to hit with wider base, drops hands into load and keeps them low to get on plane early with swing, Whole-field approach with line drive swing plane, inside-out hand path, hit the ball consistently to the opposite field. Worked out defensively in the infield. Fields well out in front with a wide, balanced base; takes short and quick steps to the baseball while showing solid range to both sides. Squares shoulders well into gather and crow hop, does a good job getting online to target before throwing. Shorter arm action with quick release, gets on top of the ball and throws online, IF velocity clocked up to 75 MPH. Very good student.
