Austin Turner is a 2019 OF/LHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Buford, GA who attends Buford HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.74 in the sixty, works behind and through the ball well in the outfield, long arm action from an over the top arm slot, should have the speed to play centerfield at the next level. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance and tends to stay open, high hands and back elbow in set up, uses his hands to hit and looks to pull the ball, can get late with his front foot getting down. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Auburn.
