Felix Cabrera is a 2016 SS/2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Cypress Creek HS. Lean, athletic build with a projectable frame and room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, stays low and fields the ball out front, shows range and balance going up the middle with quick feet, short arm action, drops elbow at times across, sound overall actions. Right-handed hitter, starts with a wide base and shows an up the middle approach in the box. Short and quick swing path to the ball, opens front side early at times, lien drive swing plane with a nice feel for the barrel. Keeps hands inside well with nice contact skills. Shows nice tools that will continue to project.
