Charlie Greenich is a 2016 RHP/3B with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Covington, GA who attends Eastside HS. Tall and slender build, very young look, lots of physical projection for a senior. Long and loose arm action with lots of extension front and back, high 3/4's arm slot that is almost over the top at times, can get hips and lower half more involved in his delivery, medium effort on release. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, maintained velocity very well, gets outstanding sinking and running life at times with big downhill plane to the plate, works down in the zone with his fastball consistently. Curveball flashed hard spin and downer bite at times, better curveballs were thrown at harder velocities, tended to slow arm on occasion and cast the pitch. Didn't throw many change ups but a couple were very good with late movement. Got in a groove and dominated the last two innings. Does not have a college commitment at present.
