Jonathan Cancel is a 2016 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Morovis, PR who attends Sagrada Familia. Tall and lean projectable build, lots of room to fill out and get stronger. 6.77 runner, gets to the ball quickly in the outfield and has quick feet, also has a quick release on throws, arm works well and makes on line accurate throws, solid defensive tools and fundamentals. Right handed hitter, leg raise trigger, foot tends to be late getting down, lands open with his front side, deep hand load creates length, hands and front side working against each other, long and loose swing, hits to all fields, has the athleticism to improve offensively with additional strength and adjustments.
