Ryan Whiting is a 2016 C/1B with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Winder, GA who attends Bethlehem Christian Academy HS. Has a medium frame with a strong, athletic build. From behind the plate, begins with a high set, has quick feet and a long arm action with some windup. Showed a quick transfer and release in games with good carry on throws. Velocity reached 77 MPH. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance and a wide base. Hands would drop to trigger swing. His backside get through well with hard contact and pop off bat. Had hard pull side barrel. Good student.
