Philip Brahana is a 2015 C with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends North Atlanta. Extra-large, athletic build with long limbs and a lean, projectable build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.65 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, receives the ball well out front, flexible actions behind the plate, full arm action on accurate throws down to second base with arm strength that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, uses a toe tap trigger for timing in swing. Uses long limbs to create extension out front in swing, opens front side early at times. Gets the barrel through the zone and shows the ability to generate contact to all fields with some lift in swing. Very good student.
