Austin Tucker is a 2015 RHP/C/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from High Springs, FL who attends Santa Fe HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Submarine pitching style, works from the stretch and keeps his mechanics simple, lands open, loose arm action, stays balanced well at release. Fastball topped out at 74 mph, have seen up to 77 mph this summer, gets early sink and running action, pounds the strike zone and keeps the ball low. Extra soft curveball tantalizes hitters, flashed a rare change up. Was extremely effective with very quick innings and this pitching style has been proven to work at this level when executed well.
