Jordan Peyton is a 2020 MIF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Colonial Beach, VA who attends Washington & Lee. Short athletic build, young look for his age. 7.22 runner, athleticism plays much faster than his sixty time, showed very good athleticism both in the infield and outfield defensively, has quick feet and works through balls very well, has confident hands especially in the infield and gets his glove down early, makes accurate throws with very good arm strength, has the athleticism to play all over the field, probably plus at six positions. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a high leg lift trigger, foot will get down late at times, hand hitch load, aggressive swing approach, creates bat speed, will need to simplify his swing at the next level, shows barrel control, adjusted to velocity very well in games, has the raw bat speed to improve as a hitter. Also pitched, very multi-piece delivery with lots of energy, has the ability to repeat his mechanics surprisingly well and throw strikes, very deceptive. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with some running action, slider showed good depth, has feel for his change. Fun player to watch play, has energy in addition to his athleticism. Good student. Verbal commitment to Radford. Named to the National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
