Jacob Gunter is a 2015 1B/LHP with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Christ Presbyterian Academy. Tall, strongly built athlete. Ran a 7.47 60 yard dash. Bats left-handed, works from an upright setup and carries his hands low. Sets up slightly open and flashes pull side lift. Strong hitter with an aggressive approach. Arm strength still developing across the diamond, moves well around the bag. Also took the mound, pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and touches 75 mph with his fastball. Also flashes 1-7 curveball with solid shape and depth. Creates a good angle. Very good student.
