Spencer Douches is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Collins Hill HS. Large frame with long, lean build and broad shoulders, projects very well. Primary right handed pitcher, leg raise delivery that works to an overhand arm slot, long arm action with wrap on backside. Fastball up to 80 mph, shows some life and more effectiveness when located to bottom half of the strike zone, solid command of offering. Some feel for a slider with tight spin, good depth on offering, some aptitude to vary the shape on the pitch and keep hitters off balance. Also plays the outfield, has some arm strength with throws up to 83 mph in drills, could be even more impressive with consistent lower half use. Right handed hitter, deeper hand load, extended trigger with some bat wrap, has some strength and can work balls into gaps when squared. Very good student.
