Nicholas Natale is a 2018 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 148 lb. frame from Berlin, NJ who attends Eastern. Medium, athletic frame with long limbs and a high waist, lean projectable build with room to fill out with additional strength. Ran a 7.10 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, shows nice balanced and fluidity through delivery before releasing from a three-quarter arm slot. Loads weight on back side at balance point and drives towards the plate, shows a nice feel for three-pitch mix, fastball topped at 79 mph. Curveball shows 11-5 shape and does a nice job of mimicking arm action on changeup. Fields with a wide base and out front in infield, shows strength and accuracy across, working on top of ball will help increase carry. Right-handed hitter, starts with a small leg lift trigger and a high hand set. Short path to the ball with natural lift at contact. Upper body swing with a sound approach, consistent swing with ability to backspin the ball. Very good student.
