Christopher Lukas is a 2018 OF/LHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Danielsville, GA who attends Madison County HS. Large frame with a lean, athletic build and wiry strength. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.83 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, athletic actions while moving to through the baseball. Carried momentum well through pick up and released from a three-quarters slot. Generated stiff, accurate throws to the bag topping at 84 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a slightly crouched, even stance. Stays on back side while working to contact with rotational lower half actions. Simple, direct hand path to baseball with a slightly lifted barrel plane through extension. Flashed solid bat speed through the zone when turning top hand to contact. Flashed good leverage that produced good carry to the gaps when connecting with baseball out front. Also pitched utilizing a quick paced, fluid delivery. Stayed balanced at gather and tends to land at a slightly closed position on front side at release. Showed good feel for a fastball offering that flashed some natural cut to glove side, topped at 80 miles per hour. Curveball had 2/8 shape with loose spin and good depth in the low 60's. Matched arm action with a changeup offering that also showed some cut to glove side in the low 70's. Consistently pounded the bottom quadrants of the strike zone while effectively changing speeds.
