Gregory Dahl is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Nutley, NJ who attends St Mary High School. Medium frame. with a solid, athletic build that still has remaining projection. Posted a 5.25 mark in the 40 yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked from a high three-quarter arm slot and got downhill well. Hooked in the back of his arm circle, released ball clean with very easy release. Pounded the strike zone with a fastball that worked 80-83 mph with slight arm-side life. Would do well to keep pitches lower in the zone to generate weaker contact. Showed a slider with tilt and tight spin as well at 73 mph and also showed some feel for a changeup that should be further developed. Also worked out from the outfield, repeated his throws well with good arm strength and accuracy. Top velocity from the outfield was an impressive 86 mph. At the plate, utilized a leg lift timing mechanism and showed the strength in his frame with some bat speed. Worked gap-to-gap with solid contact and balance throughout. Good student.
