Brock Grabarkewitz is a 2016 C/1B with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Boerne, TX who attends Boerne. Medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, mature frame with present strength throughout. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, quick transfer and release, gets on top of throws, accurate to the bag, arm strength will continue to develop with continued incorporation of lower half. Left-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open stance and a high hand set. Quick hands with a short path to the ball and a line drive swing plane. Creates contact to all fields, line drive contact up the middle with nice bat speed coming through the zone. Inside path, shows a feel for the barrel with jump coming off to the pull side. Good student.
