Erick Rey is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Oklahoma City, OK who attends Westmoore HS. Young middle infielder's build with some wiry present strength. Right handed hitter, swings hard and is aggressive at the plate, has present bat speed and the ability to drive the ball hard to the pull side, gets coiled and loaded well but is a bit busy in his pre-swing approach, has offensive tools to develop. 7.23 runner, has good feet to the ball and stays balanced, compact lower arm slot, hands are soft and sure, second base actions. Good athlete who has the physical tools to keep improving. Performed well in the games. Good student.
