Sean Zweber is a 2017 OF/LHP with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends Chattahoochee HS. Compact-medium frame with athletic build, has present strength but still maintains room to fill out, project. Primary outfielder, charges the ball well. Smooth actions, aggressive with quick transfer and release, gets rid of the ball quickly, up to 78 mph in defensive drills. Offensively, aggressive approach at the plate, swings hard. Keeps hands inside the ball, slightly uphill swing plane with natural loft. Shows quickness in hands, has some tools to work with, has comfort and confidence in using the opposite field. Also pitches, high leg lift delivery while working exclusively out of the stretch. Gets to a high 3/4's arm slot, fastball up to 79 mph. Pitch has some arm side run, pitches with good tempo and keeps hitters off balance. Shows solid feel for curveball, offering has 1/7 shape with sharpness and quality depth. Flashed a few changeups, knows how to pitch and can work to either side of the plate. Very good student.
