Corey Collins is a 2020 C/OF with a 6-3 208 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Big and strong athletic build. Very good straight ahead speed for his size, 6.84 in the sixty. Showed a very strong arm behind the plate, size can make him long in his exchange and release, strong hands receiving the ball, can also play corner outfield and could no doubt play first base as well. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance, gets his hips going well, pull approach with a heavy top hand, ball is loud off the barrel and he gets big jump when turning on the ball, top of the scale raw power when everything is together. Very good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.
