Joshua Leckie is a 2017 3B/C with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Pelzer, SC who attends Woodmont HS. Has a medium frame and an athletic build with room to grow. Posted a 7.31 60. On the infield, young developing actions with arm strength reaching up to 77 MPH. Takes his time approaching and transferring ball. Will improve as he continues to mature into his body. At the plate, right handed hitter that starts with a slightly open stance and a standard base. Has quick hands with a simple, consistent line drive approach. Favored inside over outside pitches. Had solid barrels throughout showcase. Good student.
