John "JD" Noey is a 2016 C with a 5-7 177 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak HS. Medium build with broad shoulders and a strong, physical build with present strength. Primary catcher, receives the ball out front, full arm action and gets on top of accurate throws down to second base, longer release, arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with pre-pitch movement in hands and shows an aggressive approach at the plate. Short and quick swing with a short path to the ball. Uses strength in swing with extension and creates consistent line drive contact to the middle of the field. Outstanding student.
