Edward Lefever is a 2018 C with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Ocala, FL who attends Trinity Catholic HS. Lefever has a medium sized frame with some strength. Defensively he has a side saddle set up on his pop throws and he gains some ground. Lefever has developing catch and throw tools with arm strength up to 73 MPH. He made accurate throws and throws with a long arm action. At the plate, Lefever starts with a slightly open stance and a high hand set. He has active hands at set up and uses a toe tap trigger. Lefever has an opposite field approach and he made consistent line drives to the opposite field in BP. He has developing bat speed with developing hitting tools. Excellent student.
