Jack Drury is a 2018 3B/1B, RHP, C with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Mira Loma, CA who attends Eleanor Roosevelt HS. Medium, broad shouldered build with strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.87 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, takes short steps to the ball and moves well to left and up the middle, sound actions charging in, short arm action in the back, can throw from multiple arm slot and shows arm strength, glove plays at the ball. Also pitched, field up the strike zone working from a three-quarter arm slot, lands slightly closed with front foot. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, mostly true with occasional short running life to arm side, can get to glove side well. Curveball showed sweeping 10-4 shape with some depth at 67 mph. Left-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance and pull hands back to begin swing. Upper body swing, shows good rhythm overall with a small glide step into contact. Creates lift at contact and gets the barrel to the ball quickly, line drive swing plane with contact to the middle and opposite parts of the field.
