Orlando Gabriel Serrano is a 2016 RHP/OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Groveland, FL who attends South Lake HS. Medium, athletic, proportioned frame. Ran a 7.29 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and had a simple, leg raise delivery. Stays balanced and directional. Pitches to contact and tops at 76 mph with his fastball, Mixes a 64 mph curveball with 11-5 depth. Also flashes a 67 mph changeup with fade but slows his arm at times. Throws strikes consistently. Also swung the bat, has a flat line drive swing path and flashes hard line drive contact to his pull side. Moves well in the outfield, but needs to refine actions. Flashes carry on his throws. Good student.
