Braden Nixon is a 2015 OF/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Arbor View. Lean, athletic build with room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Gets good jumps and reads on the base paths. Primary outfielder, takes short steps to the ball and does a nice job of getting body behind the ball, full arm action on throws with developing arm strength, comes out clean of hand cleanly. Loose hands through swing, shows nice bat speed with some extension out front at times. Has a feel for the barrel and a middle of the field approach and shows ability to hit to the opposite field, upper body swing and projects well with added strength. Excellent student.
